Increase bhp from 146kw to 195 kw or about 280 bhp or nearly a 50% increase in power. Claimed to be safe for towing. Just a pity they insist on calling a charge cooler an intercooler but we have Volvo cars for that as it sounds better.

RE: Tuning
As a civil engineer by training, most of this passes about 6 inches over my head, but the upgrade sounds impressive, although I wonder how much it cost?

RE: Tuning
No doubt you can google the cost by going into google and then google Australia. There long range fuel tank for a Hilux used to be about £1,000--so I think expensive.
They seem to have done a better job rather than just rechip or similar. In a rechip the turbo wastegate is held closed until a higher boost pressure is achieved on heavy pedal driving together with an increase in fuel injection volume.
