Looks nice with a great looking interior but the engine power/torque figures are a disappointment for a 3lt.

The reason that the power is less isbecause this engine is designed for the light weight truck industry and like previous generations of Isuzu engines it is a very durable engine which will not overheat when used flat out up a 10 mile incline of some 15%. The Ranger Australian tuning modifcation previously mentioned does not just up the fuel delivery and keep the wastegate closed for longer but increases he aidiabetic efficiency. In particularly in the very hot Australian desert conditions where the temperature is kept down by a much larger and more eficient charge cooling air to air heat exchanger. This is why I suspect why the latest versions of chipped Navara V6 engines go into limp home mode up steep hills when lots of "welly" occurs.
